The Learning Centre programs are popular. Sometimes, you will try to enrol in a particular series or class and you will not be able to register. This is because the maximum enrolment has been reached. Please do not give up. Firstly, you can consider coming to another series at a different time during the semester. The other option is to ring 9266-3825 and ask to be registered.It's not too late to register for Study Plus programs: Study Skills & Strategies and Study Management!!
The Study Plus Programs are a series of five free two-hour seminars and one-hour workshops designed to help undergraduate and postgraduate students succeed in their courses of study.The Study Skills and Strategies module is still open for registration in oral presentation, structuring ideas, good notetaking and winning assignments.
All seminars are held in Building 105 Room 153 (underneath the Library), unless otherwise indicated.

PowerPlus Essay and Power Plus Writing is starting on Monday 15th September 2008
The Power Plus Essay Program is a series of five free two-hour (or intensive) seminars designed to facilitate undergraduate and postgraduate students to organise, structure, and find focus for their essays. The program uses The Little Blue Writing Book by Jeanne Dawson, available from Curtin Bookshop.All seminars are held in Building 105 Room 153 (unless otherwise indicated).

The Power Plus Writing Program is a series of five free two-hour (or intensive) seminars covering sentence structure, punctuation, grammar, syntax, writing powerful sentences for academic and professional success. The program uses The Little Red Writing Book by Jeanne Dawson, available from the Curtin Bookshop.

The Grammar Masterclass is a series of five free seminars designed especially for students whose first language is other than English.
